Using our Zimbabwean dollars (complete with expiry dates) we bought our day passes and headed onward to one of the wonder of the worlds.
Declining waterproofs, we wound our way along the fenced tracks and soon found ourselves gazing at the mighty Victoria Falls.
Torrents of water rage through the hard basaltic rock, ricocheting left and right
ferociously. Dense white cloud blankets the Zambezi beneath and from the cloud rises a steam-like vapour which ascends to the heavens before coming crashing back down to earth, creating perpetual rainfall.
It was simply unfathomable and though soaked to the skin, a smile swept across all the faces of the group…the sight was infectious, it was sublime.
